So once you connect the PS3 controller to the Mac, tap the center button on the PS3, then unplug the devices and the controller should be added. Now to connect a PS3 controller you must turn on the bluetooth on your Mac then add the PS3 controller to the list of devices. Once you download some roms you can simply boot them up in the dolphin app. After downloading the emulator, you’ll want download some ROMs (games) at, here is will you’ll find all the Gamecube roms you could ever want to play. Also this emulator will play Wii games, but I’m not going to get into that in this post. It’s cleverly called Dolphin because that was the Gamecube’s codename during development also the GPU was referenced as flipper.
So the first thing that your’e going to want to do is download the Dolphin emulator for the Mac, which can be downloaded here. I decided to write a tutorial on how to setup a Gamecube emulator on the Mac and use a PS3 or Xbox 36o controller to play your favorite games.
